It is easy to forget that the great kings and queens of history were once little children. Nestled amongst our treasure trove of miniature portraits is a depiction of Marie-Antoinette as a child, with her parents and siblings. Join Guide Lecturer Debbie Misuri-Charkham to shine a light on this finely painted watercolour and consider how Marie-Antoinette, in becoming Queen of France, moved from Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna to the Palace of Versailles.
Places are limited and allocated first-come, first-served on the day.
